Clients not
quite ready to go under the needle can opt for jeans from
the new Hart & Huntington line of limited-edition women’s
denim pants. The line features six designs by three
tattoo artists from the Hart & Huntington Tattoo Co.
“The designs were hand drawn and then
digitized so that they could be embroidered on the denim,”
said Mia Brazilia’s owner-designer, Kaneta Roth. “Some of
the designs have more than 50,000 stitches, and they are
all in color.”
The
designs look like classic tattoos and are placed in likely
places on the body. Antique smoking guns are placed on the
outer thighs, and a pair of dove jeans floats above the
back pocket on the small of the back. The line, which is
set to ship in November, is limited to 200 jeans per
design. Roth hopes to position the line, which
wholesales for $105–$240, in select high-end boutiques and
says the jeans will also be sold at the Hart & Huntington
Tattoo Co.
The
tattoo shop, at The Palms Casino Hotel in Las Vegas, is
the focus of the popular A&E reality series “Inked
Hart and
Huntington Tattoo embroidered ladies jeans - Superb
